In his most recent position, Dr. Verco was the Medical Director at Endpoint Research, where he was responsible for medical support and strategy for clients in a number of therapeutic areas, including multiple sclerosis. Prior to this, he was the Medical Director for AstraZeneca’s Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Nottingham, UK and has been a member of numerous drug safety monitoring boards. Dr. Tony Verco earned a MBBCh degree from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he also earned his DA (Anaesthetics). In addition, Dr. Verco also has his MBA. He practiced clinical anaesthesia for five years before joining the pharmaceutical industry in 1996. |
